Elena concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration and general civil litigation, with particular emphasis on real estate-related matters. On the estate planning side, Elena guides clients through the preparation of wills, trusts, financial and health-care powers of attorney, living wills, and related deeds. On the litigation side, she represents clients in a wide range of civil disputes, including real estate litigation, property tax appeals, personal injury cases, and other general civil matters. Before entering private practice, Elena gained diverse legal experience which includes:

Judicial law clerk for trial court judges in Arlington County, Virginia
Assistant General Counsel and Human Resources Manager for a regional securities broker-dealer and registered investment adviser
Associate attorney at a Virgin Islands firm focused on personal injury and civil litigation
Solo practitioner handling general civil matters
Elena also served a term on the Oakmont Borough Council. In addition to her law practice, Elena is a licensed real estate agent with Howard Hanna.
A longtime resident of Oakmont, Elena is the mother of one adult son.
